Jyothirmayi Nishantha actress who has acted in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and English movies.
She was born in Kottayam in Kerala. She now lives in Kochi. She did schooling from Mata Nagar School and St. Mary's School, and later on her stairs, Jyothi joined Maharaja's College. This is a course in public relations and journalism at the Kerala Academy Press.
She married Nishantha them in primary school.
She began her career as an anchor in TV programs broadcast on the channel later, Citi and PRNewswire. Jyothi played in the series titled Indraneelam and later debuted in the pilot, where he played the role of nurses. She came into the limelight after Meesha Madhavan. Jyothi got a chance to act against the superstars like Mammootty and Mohanlal.
In 2002 she won the Kerala State Award for best actress and the second National Film Award for his performance in the film Bhava. Mita Vasisht and Murali Menon appeared with her in the film. The actress recently appeared in Kerala Cafe (2009) by Lal Jose and Shajo Kailash. The film was ten stories about events taking place in the cafeteria of Kerala
